OUR online SCHOOL
Our Spanish online program was originally created in 2013 by Peruwayna Spanish School as a way to continue offering Spanish lessons to it's former students once they finished with their Spanish Immersion Programs in Lima, Peru. Later on, our Spanish Online program became an independent organization in order to extend this service to anyone looking to Learn Spanish Online. Today, our Online School and our Spanish School in Lima, Peru, work closely together as sister organizations to keep improving our programs and to make sure we offer the best possible learning experience to all our students.
Our Spanish School in Lima, Peru, began as a small group of teachers who saw an opportunity to build a school truly dedicated to personalized teaching as part of a fun community. Today, the commitment and love for what we do has helped us become one of the most prestigious Spanish language schools in Latin America while maintaining our tight-knit community. Our diverse and talented students have continually inspired us to invent new learning solutions, such as our new Spanish Online Platform, and to create one of the only textbooks specifically designed for immersion programs in Latin America.
Mariella - Academic Director
Meet Mariella! Thanks to her we can provide the best possible educational experience to every single student, and make sure we apply cutting edge strategies specifically designed for teaching Spanish as a foreign language. Mariella has two degrees in education and literature from Universidad Nacional Federico Villareal in Lima and has also completed several specialization degrees, which include a Masters in education with a major in teaching and educational management (Universidad César Vallejo) and several Professional development programs for Spanish teachers given by Universidad de la Rioja, Spain. She’s also an Official examiner for the DELE International Test: Levels A1 to C2 (Instituto Cervantes), and a Certified trainer for the SIELE International Test. Mariella will always be prompt to responding any language inquiries you may have, and will make sure every student’s curricula is exactly what they need!
Alexandra - Managing Director
Meet Alexandra! She has a degree in Business Administration from Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas. Alexandra is in charge of the School’s day to day administration, finance, accounting, and HR activities. She looks out for our school’s staff in general as well as organizing activities which aim for integration. She also takes care of non-academic services, such as the organization of homestays, calendars, and responding to student emails. She coordinates between our Academic and Administrative
departments so that they can work as a single unit and provide the best possible service for our students. Alexandra has an adventurer´s spirit, enjoys learning new languages, and has both traveled and lived in many places around the world, which makes us lucky to have her on the team.
Aaron - Customer Experience Manager
Meet Aaron! He has a degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management from Universidad Ricardo Palma. He’s also been certified as a Customer Experience Manager by Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas. Thanks to him, we make sure that every single student is having the best possible experience learning Spanish with us. He periodically checks in with students to make sure they are enjoying their lessons and their overall experience. Moreover, Aaron assists the General Management Department by overseeing day-to-day administration and by coordinating anything our students and teachers may need.

Antonio - Spanish Teacher
Meet Antonio! He has a degree in Translation and Interpreting from Cibertec Institute, one of the most prestigious institutes in Peru. He is also an accredited DELE examiner for levels B1/B2 by the prestigious Cervantes Institute. He is as well a certified trainer for the SIELE International Test (Instituto Cervantes, Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, Universidad de Salamanca, and Universidad de Buenos Aires).
Antonio loves teaching Spanish and enjoys learning new languages. He speaks fluent English and Portuguese! Moreover, he’s completed several courses in “Social and emotional learning”, “Inductive learning”, “Cultural and intercultural learning”, “Learning strategies” and “Real use of the language” held by Edinumen Publishing House, Cambridge University Press and Universidad de Salamanca. Antonio’s a truly committed teacher and a wonderful friend! His lessons are full of great energy and fun anecdotes!
Guillermo - Spanish Teacher
Meet Guillermo! A vibrant spirit with an infectious passion for languages, Guillermo boasts a degree in Secondary Education in Language and Literature, showing his deep love for Spanish and its impact. But he doesn't stop there! He also has comprehensive studies in foreign languages under his belt, including English, Italian, and Portuguese, which gives him a unique, multi-lingual perspective on teaching Spanish. Currently, Guillermo is enhancing his education even further by pursuing a Master's Degree at the Santo Toribio de Mogrovejo University. A commitment that demonstrates his relentless pursuit of knowledge and intellectual growth. What makes Guillermo truly special is his talent and passion outside of language teaching. He has a unique knack for music, with the ability to play and teach guitar. On top of all that, Guillermo has also dipped his toes into the world of acting, showcasing his performance skills in various artistic projects during his lifetime. Guillermo's diverse skills and interests bring a unique and engaging teaching style to his classes. His love for languages and vibrant personality make each class an enriching, enjoyable experience. Estefania - Spanish Teacher
Meet Estefania! She has a degree both in Linguistics and in the Spanish Language from Universidad Nacional Federico Villareal. She’s recently completed a course titled “Key competencies for language teachers” given by Editorial Edinumen and Universidad de Salamanca. Estefania does as well hold a graduate specialization in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language from Universidad Catolica del Peru. Moreover, Cervantes Institute has accredited her both as an Official DELE Examiner (levels A1 to C2) and as a SIELE Official Trainer. Furthermore, she has completed a Professional development program called “Innovation in ELE instructional competencies” given by Universidad de la Rioja in Spain. Estefania has a very fun yet organized and unique teaching style. She takes all her students’ learning goals very seriously and organizes her class accordingly. She loves it when her students feel accomplished and is constantly working hard to provide them with new class activities, which are both fun and challenging

Patricia - Spanish Teacher
Meet Patricia! She holds a professional degree in education and in foreign languages from Universidad San Marcos, the most prestigious public university in the country. On top of this, Patricia has a graduate specialization degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language from Universidad Catolica del Peru. Patricia is as well an official DELE examiner for levels B1/B2, C1/C2, and A2/B1 ”Escolar” certified by the prestigious Instituto Cervantes, and is a certified trainer for the SIELE International Test. Patricia has recently completed specialized Spanish courses on Cultural and Intercultural Learning, Inductive Learning, and Real Use of the Language given by Edinumen Publishing House, Cambridge University Press, and Universidad de Salamanca. “Miss Patty” (as we love to call her) makes sure to provide her students with a fun class environment filled with ingenious class activities, which are usually her own inventions. She loves children and has taken several courses on children’s class methodology, so she’s often in charge of our Spanish for Kids/ Teenagers program. activities, which are usually her own.

Kelly - Spanish Teacher
Meet Kelly! She has a Translation and Interpreting Bachelor’s degree from Universidad César Vallejo. Kelly has also attended a training for Teachers of Spanish as a foreign language held by Instituto Cervantes and Universidad Ricardo Palma.
She is also an accredited DELE examiner for levels B1/B2 by the prestigious Cervantes Institute. She is as well a certified trainer for the SIELE International Test (Instituto Cervantes, Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, Universidad de Salamanca, and Universidad de Buenos Aires). Kelly does as well have a passion for languages. She has great knowledge in Russian, English, German, French, Portuguese and Japanese! Her language skills clearly reflect on her unique and resourceful teaching style! Kelly’s truly comitted to what she does, and loves to work together with her students to meet their various Spanish language goals.

Alexis - Spanish Teacher

Alexis is a warm person who’s always excited to share his life experiences in class, as well as fun aspects of Peruvian culture.

Mercedes - Spanish Teacher
Meet Mercedes! She has a teaching bachelor degree from Instituto Pedagógico Nacional Monterrico and has completed a Masters degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language from the prestigious Universidad de Barcelona from Spain. On top of this, Mercedes has been certified by the prestigious Instituto Cervantes as an official DELE examiner for levels A1/A2 and B1/B2.
Mercedes is an amazing teacher who always has so much energy. She genuinely cares about her students and is always looking for ways to help them learn. She's also incredibly patient, which is really helpful when learning a new language. To make her classes engaging, she's constantly creating new class materials and activities, as a result, her students learn a lot while also having a lots of fun in the process.
Lizzie - Spanish Teacher
Introducing Lizzie, a highly qualified language educator with a diverse educational background. She holds a degree in Translation and Interpretation from Universidad César Vallejo, demonstrating her foundational expertise in language studies. Lizzie further expanded her linguistic prowess with a Master's degree in Linguistics and Literary Studies from Vrije Universiteit Brussel in Belgium, adding an international dimension to her academic profile.
Her dedication to Spanish language education is further highlighted by her Graduate degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language, a collaboration between the Instituto Cervantes and Universidad Ricardo Palma. Lizzie's skills and knowledge have been recognized by the Instituto Cervantes, where she earned certification as an official examiner for the DELE International Test for level A1/A2, and additionally, Lizzie is an accredited trainer for the SIELE International Test. Her extensive training and international experience equip her with unique insights and methodologies, making her a versatile and effective educator in the field of language learning.
